    Roma Market is an incredible Italian grocery store with a fantastic selection of Italian products. I saw spinach pasta, all sorts of beautiful and uniquely shaped pastas, as well as a variety of cookies, pastries, and even frozen pasta. If it wasn't such a hot day, I would have definitely added some frozen pastas to try. I stopped by Roma Market around 2pm on a weekday for their famous pink-wrapped sandwiches, which included mortadella, capicolla, salame, and provolone. As I came in, I saw there were only 5 sandwiches left, which were quickly purchased, but they were ready with another box full in the back. While the sandwich itself is served very simply and some might say "plain," it's perfect for really tasting all the deli meats. I would also love to have this toasted or as a panini. Next time, I will be adding my own touch. Pro tip: bring a side of salad with Italian dressing and pepperoncinis for a great meal before or after a visit to Pasadena. Loved visiting here and I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian groceries and a simple and delicious sandwich experience!

    We went here due to all the hype and we really liked the sandwich for the price. I don't think it's amazing but very good. The bread was fresh and the meats were high quality. It reminded me of a sandwich you might get in Europe such as the baguettes you can eat in France. We actually bought two sandwiches so we can eat it for dinner as well. The more we eat them, the more we like them. I would say don't expect anything too amazing but it's a solid, good sandwich that won't disappoint you.

    I don't really understand how it's so simple yet so perfect. Sometimes I'll pick up 4 or 5 just to eat them for lunch and dinner the next couple of days. They are even better warmed up!
